African Eagle is the second largest houseboat on lake kariba. This 157 ft. house boat has 24 rooms ensuit.Pool, kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a four burner electric stove, large oven, microwave, additional ice maker, Mr. Coffee coffee maker, 30 cup coffee maker, warmers, crock pots, dishes, flatware, cookware & probably any utensil you might need. Food preparation is usually done by customer with help from Utopian Cruises staff if needed. Catering is available should your plans require it.

Other than the captain's quarters, each of the bedrooms has a queen size bed and the sofa in the saloon makes into a queen bed. Sleeping two to a bed, Utopia will accommodate preferably no more than 8 adults for overnight in addition to crew. In exceptional cases 10 persons can be can be accomodated with customer providing all additional bedding needed for all over 8 persons (sleeping bags, air mattress, linens, pillows, etc.).

A large sumptuous sleeper sofa and two recliner chairs occupy one side of the salon across from the entertainment center featuring a top of the line, custom surround sound system. The system includes a six disk changer, double deck tape player, tuner, hi-fi stereo VCR, DVD player and a 27" color TV. The sound system can be controlled from the front or rear deck, upper deck, and the Captain's quarters, which has its own color TV/VCR.

A spacious front deck includes a table and chairs. The rear deck offers easy access to the water with a 3 ft. swim platform and ladder. For the swimmers, Utopia has numerous noodles and inflatables. A 12' water slide was added during July of 2004. The upper deck has a large 7'X 7' hot tub with seating for 6 and a propane grill. The upper deck can also be set up with a total of 7 tables with seating for approximately 40 should it be needed.
